Die tweede laag gaas tape is opgesit om sterkte te gee aan die hout blokkie aan die onderkant waar landing gear moet vaskom.Die agterkant van die fuse waar die 3de laag op is, een laag PU, tweede gaas en PU en nou 3de weer net PU

Gaas tape geplak men met PU bedek. Baie skuurwerk wat weer voorlê. Gaas is amper n bietjie dik en dit sukkel om om hoeke te plak. Die PU wat ek gebuik raak droog binne 10 min so deur net aan te hou om die hoeke plat te druk raak die PU so taai dat die gaas later in plek bly.

the regulat 1.25m gliders and put a motor on it.

My first Heli crash

Im not exactly sure what happened , but one of 2 things .
1. The beltwas fairly loose and could slip , on full up I believe that may have hapened.
2. The gyro might have drifted off to one side and I might have forgotten to move the rudder stick to get it center again , and with full up the moment the skids left the ground contributing it swung 270 degrees.

The idee came to me. wynot pot a glider wing on a small fuse. The wing a 1.25 m glider. the fuse is 600 long. the motor 19 gram. prop 5 X 5. The glider plane weigh 555 gram with a 1050 lipo. Could not gain height fast near to the ground. As soon as the plane got higher the termal lift started helping. There was no wind only termal movement. Tried again aerly morning and no extra lift at 12 in the morning the lift is good. The 5X5 prop did not seem to worry the gliding. To land jou have to plan better because the plane dont want to lose speed. It overshoot the landingstrip easy.

Maiden flight was ok , power is less than i wanted , but the motor is
realy small.

We had my 3m glider and my Dad and Jaco's 2.4m gliders in the air
together for a very long time, and got the sunburnt legs and arms to
prove it . The big gliders are very eficient and we managed to take
them up as far as we were comfortable , which means they were specs.

We had a great day at the slope , the wind was medium and good for
light and heavier gliders . even the flick did great.
